Photographed while wandering wide-eyed across the American West, this project presents both incidental infrastructure and architecture, and intentionally appointed monuments, that contextualize the experience of largely undeveloped land.

Imagining an alien observer new to these geographies, our culture, technology, and age, these marks of human intervention present a puzzle of our history and future.
